How many motorcycle drag races the NHRA organizes per year ? and how many deadly crashes happen ?

It is for a study concerning the building of a strip on our island.

The 2010 race Schedule

As for the Deadly Crashes
You will always get serious injuries where motorsports are.
The people who do these sports recognise the dangers and try to minimise the risk.
The will always be the occasional fatality. And we mourn their loss.
But they do what they love. Its an acceptable risk.

1 is too many. But we will always race things with engines.

As for the deadly crashes the last one that was an NHRA driver was Scott Kallita NHRA Funny Car driver. As long as the track has tech inspection (Sorry I know I spelled that wrong) on any car that goes down the track and the track crew knows how to clean up a big oil down or any other type of mess you should have very little to worry about.I am a NHRA fan and go watch racing at a NHRA member track near where I live. I feel that it is a safe place to go and race.
