PS: Those cars do catch fire quite often, however. It’s never quite that serious, never at over 300 mph, and there’s never a crash that bad.

Fuck the start of …
the start of the clip, I was there. The car blew up a little over half-track. A couple hundred yards later, after coasting at 300 miles per hour, is when he hit the concrete “medium” (median, maybe?). At the end of the track, he went through the net and hit a hillside, still doing probably 200 or so, and the car really blew up. I’m not saying he’s a hero because he’s dead or anything, just that you’re an for arguing when you haven’t the slightest idea what you’re talking about.
