    Just want to defend the GT-R, it made for going around corners not doing drag races. I know the ZR 1 is also good at going around corners. But put the GT-R up against the 911 GT2 or 599 GTB on a track I think it would win that battle.

    @EatmyDust1311 Not a lot of people will buy the ZR1 ok maybe in the US but not in the world because other country prefer quality built than a faster car. In Europe people will buy at least 100 R8 V10 before buying 1 Zr1. ZR1 got the same interior of the Z06… plastic interior, no leather, Bose sound system in OPTION it`s a 100 000$ For less $ in the GTR you got 11 bose speakers 9.3gig music box, satellite radio…all this standard not in option like the ZR1

    That’s WHY EVEN the OLD 997 GT2 beat the ZR1 on 5 tracks and the 599 GTO crushes the ZR1 on any track, and drag strip any time. The New 997.2 GT2RS an 997.2 911 TURBOS PWN the ZR1 anywhere anytime.

    @Greendude33 The VSPEC is a track car not a drag car. The V-SPEC is really close on the Nurburgring with 150 hp less and more weight. Let`s think where the V-SPEC is faster, in straight line or corner…. Hmmm maybe corner. The V-SPEC is a track machine with an engine with a lot of potential for tuners just like the GTR
