What would be better for drag racing?
What would be better for drag racing a supercharger or a turbocharger? Which one gives the most acceleration and which one gives you the most speed? Thanks.
supercharger will probably give slightly better acceleration cause its belt driven and has no lag but it wont give as much at the top end. a turbo will start out alittle slower but it will put out much more power and make up for it once the turbo spools up, i would recommend a turbo out of the 2 cause it will have more potential

with supercharger you are always getting the power. with a turbo it needs time to spool up and you can experience turbo lag also. it depends on the car also. some cars are better supercharged some are better turbo. i would go turbo for drag just cause you can tune it better.

A supercharger would be my choice. But get a big and powerful one. Turbos you don’t feel instantly when you step on the gas, with a supercharger ya do.
Superchargers I also think are safer.
