how to build drag strip?
can anyone tell me where to look for a website to guide on building drag racing strips any information will be appreciated thanks
If you would go to NHRA or IHRA web sites you can see the rules to drag racing. From that you will have an idea, and if you could visit a real drag strip, you would see how long, and how much stopping distance you would have to have. You would have to factor in the fact of a parachute not opening, and some kind of sand pit to stop the run-a-way dragsters could safely stop in. As far as a set plan for construction of a drag strip, I don’t think that would exist. I have been to (probably over a hundred) drag strips and they were all different. The best plan was a ramp that got steeper at the end of the runway. This idea seemed to be the best for stopping the fast cars.
I hope this helps. Good Luck!!!
Rev up your family and game room with our drag racing neon sign. Add some racing excitement to your garage, bar, game or family room! Hang it anywhere you like?on a wall, over the bar or in a window. Its quiet, cool and energy-efficient. UL-listed. 18" w x 8 1/2" d x 42" h. Rev it up! Turn it on and give your garage, office, family or game room that out-on-the-drag-strip feeling. Art of neon returns. The delicate artistry of blending glass into glowing words and pictures returns as decorative art for your home. The glass tubes are quieter, cooler and safer to use than years past?and they contain no lead. Long lasting and energy-efficient. This neon sign uses only 50-100 watts of power. If one tube happens to go out, the rest remain lit, so you can still enjoy its colorful glow.

wow that is a broad question. googel the H A M B message board
its a good resource or try the NHRA good luck.
