Another lie from the liar. Go figure. This is off Rx8club. I bought a used RX-7 TT engine a few months ago. The shipping weight was 390 pounds. The shipment contained: A wooden pallette, a used tire, the complete engine, all intake and exhaust manifolds, turbos, alternator, power steering pump, water pump, ignition coils, solenoids, and intake hoses. So, without the pallette and tire, I’d guess the engine weighs about 350 lbs.

Nice try liar. Source edmunds lists a 1999 Corvette at 16 city 26 hwy. Facts are still in that the rotary gets terrible fuel economy for a 1.3L. 1996 turbo 13B is listed at 15/23, and the 2005 Rx8 is 16/22. You failed to tell the truth again. At least you never let me down knowing you are a POS rotard.

@aji8 I honest to God don’t think you have done any research on the 787… If you did you would know exactly why it had been ban from racing. Secondly the V8 is crashing I am happy and proud to say it. The V8 is going down in flames. Soon the only people that will use it are people who don’t care how efficient the engine just that is produces massive amounts of power.

Also DO YOU KNOW HOW HEAVY A CRATE IS!?!?! The crate I used to ship my 750 engine was 65 pounds alone.

@aji8 Perhaps the rotary is a crude design but so is the V8 the V8 blows when it comes to being economical or race winning. Economy wise diesel will destroy the V8. Race and performance wise It has been proven over the past 60 years that 6 cylinders can easily out perform V8s with exception of a few. Like Ferrari’s 2.8 liter supercharged V8 which destroyed ralley racing back in the day but for the most part V8s suck ass

@aji8 I am laughing at you right now imagining how much your next gas stop is going to cost you haha. You see when I drive my RX7 around I drive it hard so there I accept that its going to get bad gas milage I really don’t care but knowing that I can out run a corvette on any of the road around my house oh man that is priceless. The V8 is dying so find something else to drive maybe an inline or horizontal 6 I mean they both kill V8s because they are a better design
